Abstract :
We experimentally demonstrate the first 100 Gb/s per-channel free-space optical transmission using polarization-multiplexed QPSK, coherent detection, and MIMO processing. This is the highest per-channel FSO rate yet reported, highly-suitable for short-distance 100 Gb/s fiber backhaul.
