Abstract :
Robust passive control for a class of linear descriptor systems with linear fractional parameter uncertainties is investigated. Based on passive and positive realness theory in descriptor systems, sufficient and necessary condition for the existence of proportional and derivative state feedback controller is derived by the strict linear matrix inequality (LMI)approach guaranteeing that the resultant closed-loop descriptor systems are admissible and strictly passive. The numerical example shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.
