Abstract :
The analytical estimate of the space-charge limited (SCL) current of a charged-particle beam propagating in an infinitely long drift tube with the dielectric insert lining the outer conductor depended on the bias V0 applied to the inner conductor of this drift tube is received in the approximation of strong magnetic field. Obtained analytical estimate is compared with the numerical modelling of the SCL current.
