Abstract
The problem of fixing position coordinates for navigational needs considered only in terms of measurement error seems to have already been solved in a global scale. Its realization with higher or lower precision is only a function of the technical solution adopted. Therefore, other, equally important, although often omitted, exploitation parameters of navigation systems become crucial. These are: reliability, availability and continuity. The article presents mathematical model of DGPS transmissions for RTCM 9-3 messages based on message format, bit error ratio and transmission rate. The analyses were made for different numbers of satellites corrected by reference stations.
