Abstract
Describes a computer program for prediction of HF propagation parameters, including received power for isotropic and real antennas, signal to noise ratio, availability depending on noise parameters, availability depending on the choice of propagation frequencies, total reliability, elevation angle and delay time between the expected propagation modes. These results are calculated for each propagation mode, received with an indicated strength threshold level. The program is partially based on the work established by R. Fricker (1983, 1985) and has been compared with the results of an oblique chirp-sounder receiver located in Brussels, synchronized on a chirp-sounder transmitter, installed at the Belgian Embassy at Kigali
