Abstract :
This paper describes about the determination of concentration of a solid component of different pulps and slurries, which is an important problem in chemical industry, oil extraction, hydrotransportation, etc. A method of solid component determining in binary systems (solid+liquid) by means of measuring the mean value of a pulp density with the use of gamma- densitometers that operate in a "narrow" beam or even in a "broad" beam geometry that proves to be enough effective.
