A reduction of the ac line current harmonics in a multilevel-voltage source rectifier

This paper describes a method for reducing harmonics of the input ac currents of the three-phase diode rectifier circuits. By adding a circuit, which serves with low switching frequencies, input voltage waveforms in the proposed rectifier can be improved. In this paper the proposed method are discussed by operating principle and analyzing waveform. The proposed rectifier circuit gives excellent input current waveforms.
