            Abstract : 
A Thulium fibre oscillator with 60uJ, 50ns pulses operating at 150kHz is demonstrated. Using a fibre amplifier 300μJ pulses were achieved which was sufficient for frequency conversion to 3.5-5μm using a ZGP OPO.
