Abstract :
An antenna system is proposed which provides hemispherical coverage without beam scanning losses, transmits or receives two or more simultaneous beams through a common aperture, supports several simultaneous frequencies, and provides a wide frequency bandwidth. The system is based on a spherical dielectric lens with small array feeds. The design and analysis of the antenna system are described, and the results of component testing and integration are presented
