Abstract :
There exist many problems, at present, in China´s town bus line network, such as unreasonable distribution, bad hierarchical structure, higher overlapping rate of lines in the network, lower density of bus route lines and poorer transportation coverage. For the above reasons, the paper, on the basis of the principles of objectivity, feasibility and practicability, proposes some ideas for the optimization of town public transit, steps and methods in the realization of it. The author also conducts analysis on the ordering of better degree in transit network, the characteristics of regional network distribution, the transshipment between city track and route lines in the hub, the feedback from the local people and the interest of transportation sectors. The concrete examples through practice show that these methods are practical in operation and better for the interest of all parts.
