Abstract :
The objective of this paper is to study the impacts of price-based, budget-constrained user-level traffic management policies on multiple classes of service with QoS requirements. It is shown that such polices can be used by users in order to support acceptable levels of QoS requirements for different classes of user applications in multiple service networks. The main idea of the paper is to show the impacts of such policies on different classes of traffic and then analyze their performance based on user-defined objective functions
