Abstract
A new method for the analytic analysis of multiple scattering problems, based on the use of scattering matrices, is presented in this paper. The new method overcomes the limitations of previous methods found in the literature. The new method has been applied to the solution of arbitrarily shaped 2D open-space problems and inductive problems in rectangular waveguides.
