Abstract :
Integration of process planning and scheduling has been an important area of research. In recent times because of the advancement in computer computational capabilities, use of heuristic algorithms for the optimization of integrated process planning and scheduling (IPPS) problems has gained enormous popularity. This paper tries to summarize the major related work and present the trend associated with the application of heuristic algorithms for optimizing IPPS problem.
