Because of the convenience of computation, the processing of the precise number beliefs in the evidential reasoning has been widely researched. However, many beliefs especially provided by human are always vague, such as linguistic beliefs and interval beliefs. To solve the combination problem of such beliefs with uncertainty, this paper proposed the concept of fuzzy belief and its combination rules and decision making. The fusion of fuzzy beliefs is based on the trapezoidal fuzzy number and its arithmetic operations. The other beliefs including number beliefs, linguistic beliefs and interval beliefs, can all be converted to the fuzzy beliefs with different membership functions. The new combination method can realize the effective combination of several kinds of vague beliefs. The experimental results have proved the validity of the fusion of fuzzy beliefs.
