Abstract :
In this paper, we consider a ring as a universal set and we assume that the knowledge about objects is restricted by a fuzzy ideal. Then we define the unified lower and upper approximations of a subset of a ring based on a fuzzy ideal. Some properties of the unified approximation operators are examined.
