Abstract :
This contribution presents the first experimental results using a developed experimental design containing meta-heuristics. The usage of meta-heuristics is evaluated by a benchmark function which tests the operation of an intelligent configuration process for simulated virtual machine tools. The goal of the experimental design after completion of development is the installation for work and job preparation of machining tools for virtual production and simulation using simulation-based optimization.
