Abstract :
In this paper, we develop a blind user separation method using charrelation matrix to improve the blind separation performance of DS-CDMA systems. The charrelation matrix, which is off-origin of the Hessian matrix of the second characteristic function, can be considered as a generalization of the covariance matrix. The problem of blind user separation can be converted as the joint diagonalization. The unknown mixing matrix is estimated via joint diagonalization of the charrelation matrix of the observations. Simulation results illustrate that the separation performance of the proposed algorithm performs better than that of the conventional algorithm in DS-CDMA systems. Especially, the proposed scheme is fit for the number of observations samples is less and the signal to noise ratio (SNR) is low.
