Abstract
The uprising number of loads interrupts the utility line which results in deterioration of power quality in the telecommunication field. Owing to the increasing consensus wherein power quality is considered as an important factor in the overall quality of life, an efficient converter has been presented in this paper. A three-phase single-stage power factor correction converter is described which has got distinguished features such as less distorted input current with no dead band region, lower peak voltage stress across switches and continuous output current over a wide range of load variation. The operation, features and simulation results obtained with the help of MatLab software are also presented.
