Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a lossless data hiding method based on histogram modification. First, the secret message to be hidden is encrypted by means of a cryptographic technique, then considering every pair of pixel in the image, the difference pixel is calculated between them. The secret message is embedded by means of difference pair mapping. This DPM is used for data embedding & histogram shifting purpose. The proposed scheme has better in the embedding capacity, which is improved by exploiting redundancy in the image. Then the original cover image can accurately be recovered after extracting the embedded message from the cover image. It achieves complete reversibility of both the data and cover image.
