Abstract :
A control problem for a particle of unknown mass is investigated. The particle moves along a horizontal line under the action of two forces: the control force and the disturbance. A feedback control is constructed which stops the particle in a prescribed terminal position irrespective of admissible masses and disturbances. The proposed control provides a minimal guaranteed time of motion
