Abstract :
A layered nano-structure is proposed to operate as an optical hyperbolic Metamaterial. The structure consists of two stacking layers of Au and Al2O3. This structure has three response regions of negative refraction, positive refraction, and zero transmission, at optical frequencies. The proposed hyperbolic metamaterial, in accordance with the non-linear effect and pump-probe method, is used to design an all-optical switch.
