Abstract :
General manufacturing process automation system is intended for electrical energy savings. This automation is created using a SCADA system. System monitoring and control from a distance in real time can be accessed through the SMS Gateway System. The system also can record some data required for the analysis of decision making. System design is created through six stages, i.e. scenario process, programming, database, communication, interaction and integration. The result is system integration between PLC and HMI that can be monitored and controlled remotely in real time via an SMS Gateway. The system that has been created can be analyzed with respect to the efficiency and performance of the system. The system can be accessed is divided into two views, which are automatic and manual. Analysis of the results it can be concluded that the use of electric energy can be saved is 17%. The performance of the system design including it can give information that occurs on the system in real-time, being able to control it via SMS Gateway so that more functions in telecommunication technology maximizes the EMS.
