Abstract :
A wideband aperture coupled 2/spl times/2 array microstrip antenna is proposed for the PCS/IMT-2000. The measured return loss bandwidth is 11.3 % and 14.3% for VSWR/spl les/1.5 and the isolation characteristic is below -30 dB throughout the operating bandwidths. These measured results show that the proposed antenna could satisfy Rx´s of the PCS/IMT-2000 and Tx´s of PCS/IMT-2000 services simultaneously. The cross polarization level is around -20 dB with 45 degree rotated patches.
