Abstract :
In this paper, we present the design of a wide band digital integrator and differentiator. The starting point for this design is the well known backward rectangular numerical integration rule. The rectangular integration formula is modified to get a good low frequency response. The bandwidth of the same is extended to cover a wide range using two clock technique. Differentiator is obtained by inverting the transfer function of the integrator. Integrator and differentiator thus obtained have magnitude response close to the ideal ones over entire Nyquist range of frequency with an error much less than what is reported in literature so far.
