Abstract :
This paper establishes a comparative study between LED drivers based on SEPIC, Ćuk and Buck-boost converters operating in Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM) supplied by photovoltaic (PV) panels. The main goal of this study lies in the investigation of the efficiency, component stress and performance achieved by each topology. The converters were simulated using the Power Sim (PSIM) simulator. Converters prototypes were then developed in order to carry out the proposed comparison.
