Abstract :
To solve the issues occurring on current submarine cable production line, such as instability and disturbances during the process of data collection and transmission, a concentrator based on embedded Ethernet communication is designed. The concentrator is designed with TM4C123 as the main control chip, equipped with ENC28J60 Ethernet controller, APC250 wireless data transmission module, TFTLCD liquid crystal display module, etc. The software design of each part is conducted based on the platform of the system hardware design. The field tests by Zhongtian Technology submarine cable production lines show that the concentrator has characteristics of resistance to disturbances occurring in the process of data transmission and intelligent operation on remote monitoring. Thus it has broad application prospects.
