Abstract
Motivated by outdoor exploration applications, we propose a system framework of node movement to achieve dynamic localization in mobile and ad hoc networks (MANETs). We first classify the localization into four levels to improve the performance of the system. Subsequently, three types of structures of MANETs are proposed. Finally, the layered system framework is designed to achieve maximum area exploring with minimum loss. Moreover, simulations are conducted to validate our proposed technique.
