Abstract :
In this paper, a low cost and compact K-band radar front-end, which can output FMCW signals in 23.76~24GHz with phase noise about -80dBc/Hz@10KHz and spurious suppression higher than 60dBc is designed. The frequency source part achieves the purposes of low power consumption and miniaturization with 2.8W DC power consumption and 58×53×19mm3 dimension. The results of close loop experiments (3m, 4m, 5m, 7m, 8m, 9m) indicate the system can realize the function of measuring distance, and the measurement accuracy reaches the design goal.
