Abstract :
A method of using the center frequency of the fed signal spectrum -10dB bandwidth to design high-power bow-tie time-domain antenna is mentioned. This antenna fed signal is first-order Gaussian pulse. Blumlein formative line specially designed plays a first-order differential role in the process of changing Gaussian pulse produced by Photoconductive semiconductor switches (PCSS) into a first-order Gaussian pulse. Antenna and blumlein formative line model-building and simulation are established by the antenna theory and CST2009 basing on the method of FDTD. The technical parameters of the antenna (such as S11, Fidelity, Time-domain pattern etc.) are optimized so that the antenna has a very wide bandwidth, good fidelity, wide time-domain pattern, stable phase center and high power.
