Abstract :
Combining axial slots with straight slots, a novel corrugated horn antenna on Ka-band is designed. Based on this structure, the size of the antenna can be miniaturized by reducing the number of axial slots and straight slots. The newly designed antenna is tested in HFSS. The simulations show that the an-tenna not only has good radiation characteristic and Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) performance, but also optimizes the size and the structure of the antenna.
