Abstract :
According to the characteristics of the future avionics electronic data bus, such as simple structure, low power consumption, low price, easy maintenance and so on, in this paper we put forward a passive star network topology based on FC-AE-1553 protocol. This topology is founded on passive optical splitter, through it to realize data transmission and data switching. At the same time, the FC-AE-1553 protocol was improved and optimized in detail using this new topology. By analyzing transmission characteristics of the protocol, a mathematical model was built, and the network performance was simulated by path set algorithm. These experiments further validated the passive star network can be widely used in future aerospace environment.
