Some considerations on improving the education quality of graduate students

With the continuous expansion of enrollment amount in China, the scale of graduate education is increasing quickly, and more and more attention is paid to the quality of graduate education. In this paper, we discuss how to improve the quality of postgraduate education from three aspects: postgraduate enrollment, academic level of advisors and instruction methods. Firstly, general characters of good students are presented for admission officer´s reference. Then we discuss how to improve advisors´ academic level and present three modes of innovative research. Finally, some effective methods of instructing students are given.
