Abstract :
This paper presents an in-operation curriculum and its further extension plan of an engineering / science education program that emphasizes “hands-on” research opportunities. The program was specifically created for international exchange undergraduate students who study in Japan. The main designing concept of the program is to nurture creative competency in the undergraduate students by offering a wide range of cutting-edge research environments in various fields. The current program would be discussed through its achievements over the seven years of history. On the basis of this discussion, another enhanced curriculum design would be proposed, and prospective advantages would be examined.
