Abstract :
This paper encompassing the various type of outdoor propagation models with different characteristics. The differences applied for varies outdoor scenarios that lead the multiple power loss behavior and being analyzed in order to estimate the propagation prediction coverage areas. In this research, three propagation models had been simulated using WinProp software. The three propagation models are COST 231 Walfisch Ikegami., Intelligent Ray Tracing and Dominant Path models. Simulations show that COST 231 W.I. model start propagate well with −27.79dBm, followed by IRT model and DPM. However, at the end DPM reached the receiver with −100.98dBm and being the winner between three models followed by IRT with −105.26dBm and COST 231 W.I. with −106.77 after travelling for 1600m distance from transmitter.
