Abstract :
The paper is dealing with auto (cross) correlation properties of Global Positioning System (GPS) codes and effect of noise on code correlation, taking into account the current status of GPS space segment and the needs for additional allocation of GPS codes, as a consequence of increasing number of navigation satellites in space segment. This material describes the models, generation and the analysis of noise. Therefore, the Coarse/Acquisition (C/A) code using Linear Feedback Shift Registers (LFSR) is generated and analyzed and a comparison of peaks of code correlated signal is done based on the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR).
