Abstract :
This paper deals with lifetime characteristics of aramid films with partial discharge aging under SF6 gas. The sphere of which diameter is 40 mm to sphere electrode system to model the wedge-shaped gas gaps was put in SF6 gas chamber and the NOMEX (T-410) paper films was inserted between sphere electrodes and the gas pressures were changed from 1.0 to 2. 0 kgf/cm2 and the various voltages were applied to control partial discharge quantity
