Abstract :
Historically, all engineering systems have been studied, analyzed and implemented by approximating the governing dynamics associated with the system by an Integer Order model. Although these models were able to replicate a close to real time working behavior, an exact model of these systems was always subject matter of research. With the advancement in technology an accurate model understanding of these systems became a necessity which set a trend in exploring the Fractional Order systems. This paper will deal with the comparison of the performance indices of the conventional Integer Order systems and the Fractional Order systems. The analysis result will show the effectiveness of Fractional Order realization of conventional Integer Order model.
