Abstract :
This paper mainly deals with the primary distribution networks of power distribution networks of power distribution system which have been focused on Monitor, Control and maintain equipment in the sub stations to reduce the operating cost. Implementation of Distribution Control Centre (DCC) which are being monitored and controlled by SCADA systems. Lagrangian decomposition Model has been proposed to minimize the losses using Distribution Automation (DA) facilities in HV/LV substations and on its MV feeders for improving power management of distribution of electricity. The proposed model is solved by Algorithmic approach. Based on the numerical calculations and graphical representations, the electrical losses are minimized for the power system using Distribution Automation.
