Abstract
In this paper, a new approach to the problem of mixed noise reduction in color image is presented. The main idea of filtering method is that the fuzzy switching filter to remove impulsive noise and then the improved bilateral filtering attenuate Gaussian noise. The algorithm copes well with different levels of mixed noise. The results show that the proposed filter is more efficient than other approaches.
