Abstract :
This paper studies the typical scheduling problem of parallel flow shop, which is characterized by multi-product, multi-stage, parallel equipment. This paper presents heuristic different algorithm (HDA) with continuous codes representing the batch size on the every stage to enhance the ability of particle to handle constraints. The results show that HPSO is superior to optimization software and standard PSO.
