Abstract :
In this paper the closed mathematical model of hydrodynamics of a loose granular medium with a unique empirical constant has been presented. The designed model allows us to describe the packed bed motion as for gravitational and pressurized flows in pneumatic units of powder technology. The reliability of the theoretical model is confirmed by validation with known experimental data related to the flow of the granular medium in a bunker with sudden narrowing
