Abstract :
The accurate prediction of turbulent flows where the separation occurs as a result of shock wave/boundary layer interaction, is very important for the applications as well for understanding the physics of boundary layer separation. In the paper the results of computations are presented for steady-state supersonic turbulent flows in the vicinity of the plane corner configurations at M=2-5. All the calculations were carried out in a condition of real physical experiments. The Favre-averaged Navier-Stokes equations were used as a mathematical model with turbulence incorporated using two-equation Wilcox turbulence model. The implicit scheme of splitting according to the space directions is used for the time discretization. It is realized by a scalar sweeps. The TVD-type schemes based on flux vector splitting are used to approximate the inviscid fluxes derivatives
