Abstract :
This paper presents a Pythagoras tree shaped multiband fractal antenna. The antenna is designed on FR4 epoxy substrate of height 1.6 mm. Pythagoras based fractal structure is used for optimal design. The second iteration depth is employed to design proposed antenna. The antenna has been simulated using HFSS simulation software, and the performance parameters such as return loss, radiation pattern and gain are analyzed and concluded. The design is committed for multiband behavior. The impedance bandwidths of different frequency spans are taken with respect to RL = -10 dB. The proposed antenna is able to achieve maximum gain of 8.57dB in radial directions denoted by angles (O = -300 & Φ=2800) and (O = 300 & Φ=1000). The proposed design contributes to the S-band as well as C band applications.
