Abstract :
As the large-scale wind power is connected to the grid, challenges are brought to the security and stability operation of the power system, and therefore it is significant to predict power of regional multiple wind farms. In addition, there are different degrees of correlation among regional multiple wind farms because of their geographic proximity. In this paper, according to a large number of wind speed and active power data in Jiangsu wind farms, wind power prediction of regional multiple wind farms is proposed with considering the correlation of the wind farms. First, power prediction of a single wind farm can be obtained respectively. Then, the correlation model of regional multiple wind farms based on M-copula function is created, and on which basis, the active power prediction curve of multiple wind farms in a region can be acquired. Experimental results show that: the correlation between wind farms has a great influence on wind power prediction.
