Abstract :
In order to ensure the safe operation of power system during the peak hours, it is a common practice for power supply companies to adopt peak load shifting measures. In the light of such practice, this study formulates an optimized peak load shifting plan based on TABU search algorithm. As the object of the study, class C load is predicted. This plan fully recognizes fairness and continuity as constraints and takes optimum economic benefits as the objective. After the load gap is met, the researchers adopt Tabu search algorithm to achieve the best plan. To testify the reliability of the plan, class C load in 21 substations of a power grid is taken as an example. The result shows the optimized plan works out with great efficiency and economy.
