Abstract :
This paper discussed about electrical network power quality improvement through distributed generation (DG) optimum placement. The objective of DG placement was power losses reduction. The optimization was conducted with Breeder Genetic Algorithm (BGA) method. The simulation result showing that BGA method generated 3.9885 MW or 22.1863 % power losses reduction.
