Abstract
In this paper, we introduce a ISAR imaging technique for search radar situation. Conventional 2D ISAR image is acquired by Fourier based operation, such as inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT) for down-range direction to attain range profile, and fast Fourier transform (FFT) for cross-range direction to attain cross image. In this study, we adopt root-MUSIC technique for down-range to attain high resolution range profile (HRRP), and modified compressed sensing method to attain cross range image efficiently in search radar situation. In search radar situation, the radar detects the scattered signal from target only when the radar antenna headed toward a target. Thus a data of the target signal has placed sparsely, and to overcome this feature, we choose a compressed sensing method which is data recovering technique in under-sampling condition.
