Abstract :
In this paper, we review a recently developed antenna radiation pattern retrieval method using reflection coefficient measurement, and propose to extend the method for two-dimensional apertures. The extension to two-dimensional apertures is achieved by sweeping a PEC strip in front of the antenna aperture in two orthogonal directions instead of previously used in one direction. The method has been demonstrated by simulation for a pyramidal horn antenna at 30 GHz.
