Abstract :
Harmonic resonance cavities are proposed and substituted as the cavity of the resonance perturbation method to evaluate the permeability. The change from a single frequency resonating cavity to the harmonic resonators enables the frequency-dependent characteristics of magnetic materials to be evaluated. Frequency characteristics of magnetic materials are required for the development and the design of noise suppression sheets for mobile phone handsets and PCs. The development and the application of the resonator to the perturbation method are discussed and the advantage of this method over the well-known transmission line method is also discussed.
