Abstract :
In this paper, Extended Dependable Air is proposed for realizing the ultra high-reliability wireless system by using universal standard clock. All base stations and mobile terminals have standard clock (with nano seconds precision) and highly precise positional information (with centimeters resolution) by receiving clock signal from Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS) and Global Positioning System (GPS). For implementation the Extended Dependable Air, two technologies by using QZSS and GPS are proposed in this paper; QZSS location and short message communication system, and heterogeneous wireless system with network selection scheme using positioning information.
